Class Visits

If you made it to this space you likely followed a link your child brought home on a piece of paper. This site links the Darby Creek Reading Community. The site will grow across the year to share information for parents, links for learning, book suggestions, and so much more.

In the first weeks of school I will be visiting first and second grade classrooms to talk about my role as a reading teacher. I'm fortunate to be able to able to go into first and second grade classrooms to read with students. Sometimes, to accommodate schedules, students come to the reading room to read with friends.

I hope you'll continue to stop as the site will continue to grow.

CongratulationS, Nya!

Nya was the winner of our drawing to have a book mailed to her each month this summer. Mrs. Teske picked the name from the mailing labels parents had filled out during our Summer Reading information night. Her June and July books have arrived. Her August book is on the way.
